We manufacture our products here in Todtnau in the Black Forest, a historical centre of the brush industry. The basis for this is a network of partners and providers of raw materials that has been built up over many decades.

The right choice of raw materials is crucial for the high utility value of our products and their lasting nature. It is determined by the desired purpose for use and our experience.

Wood or plastic for the brush body. Lacquer or wax for the finishing. Natural bristles, horsehair, goat’s hair, a variety of plant fibres or synthetic bristles as material to cover the brush body. Please ask us if you require further details.

Our trained specialised personnel has acquired a large stock of know-how over many years. This know-how provides the foundations for the consistently high level of quality we attain. Careful workmanship – by hand if necessary – helps ensure this quality standard.

FSC
From 2008 our operations and the corresponding products will be FSC® certified. This means that our products meet the high requirements set by the Forest Stewardship Council.
